Director and owner Stacey-Lea Marhue, has taught dance for a variety of studios, as well as schools for the Toronto District School Board. She enjoys teaching all ages, and choreographing for film, stage and TV. Running a dance studio that offered more than just dance was always a dream of hers. Thus, "The Dance Theatre Studio" was born! "TDTS" classes are available to kids teens and adults at all levels. Classes are conducted by highly trained professionals from the Musical Theatre and Dance industry.
Private lessons at The Dance Theatre Studio include Singing, Acting and Dance. These lessons are geared for those ages 6yrs - adult! Whether you are practicing for your next audition or simply wanting to brush up on your chosen art, a private class will give you the attention you need to go further! All our teachers have extensive experience in teaching one on one as well as in group settings.
THE DANCE THEATRE STUDIO is now offering Birthday Party packages! These themed Birthday Parties for boys or girls are filled with music, dance , games and crafts! Kids will learn some great dance moves to perform at the end of the party for friends and family. Some of our themed parties include The Princess Tea Party, Disco Party a Super Hero Party and more!

The Dance Theatre Studio is a new facility offering everything from our comfortable waiting and viewing room, to our spacious clean dance studios. Our studio surfaces are have been installed with a fibrous cushioned under padding to absorb shock to joints and muscles during physical activity. It is extremely important during any activity that requires jumping and running etc, be cushioned for safety. Both studio "A" and "B" are fully mirrored and provide proper ballet barres for the students. Clean comfortable change rooms and washrooms are provided for the students as well. At The Dance Theatre Studio we encourage our staff and students to keep 'litter low'! In doing this we have a filtered drinking water system but ask that students use their own re-usable bottles.
